Maybe a truce has been called. Last August Kim Kardashian publicly branded Katie Couric a “fake friend” yet they were photographed over the weekend at a party in the Hamptons reports Rob Shuter.

The photo which was shared on Kris Jenner’s Instagram site shows the 57-year-old Kardashian matriarch posing with Christie Brinkley, Kim and the newlywed newswoman. She captioned the snap,” Great night @kimkardashian @shellibird1@christiebrinkley @katiecouric ! #hamptonslife’”

Kim Kardashian was livid last year when she felt that Couric insulted her family and then sent a baby gift for North West.

The angry mother-of-one Instagrammed a photo of baby clothes and a note sent by Katie, with the caption: ‘#IHateFakeMediaFriends #MayIHumblySuggestYouNotSendGiftsThenTalkSh*t’

Couic had said of the Kardashians: “I don’t understand – why are they so famous? I think it’s mostly teenage girls that are interested.”

Beyonce, Jay Z Unveil Wedding Video During On The Run Tour

27 Jun

Six years after Beyonce and Jay Z tied the knot, we’re just now getting to see a glimpse of their wedding video.

The couple kicked off their joint On The Run tour in Miami on Wednesday, June 25, and footage from their secret wedding ceremony back in April 2008 was projected onto huge screens as they performed a mash-up of “Forever Young” and “Halo.”

In the clip, which was captured by fans and uploaded to YouTube and Instagram, we see Beyonce getting the IV tattoo she got in lieu of an engagement ring, as well as the stunning couple exchanging vows at their wedding as Jay Z puts a giant rock on his new wife’s finger.

It remains to be seen if the power couple will show more home movies during their tour, but at least now you can really justify shelling out all that money on tickets.

‘Think Like A Man Too’ Dominates Weekend Box-Office

23 Jun

Kevin Hart has proven to be a big time box-office draw for the second time this year with the release of his new ensemble comedy Think Like A Man Too, the sequel to the 2012 comedy hit Think Like A Man.

The film follows Hart and his friends, along with his friend’s wives and fiances, who hit up Vegas for simultaneous bachelor and bachelorette parties. As expected, things go horribly, hilariously wrong.

The film pulled in a solid $30 million in its opening weekend, already passing its $24 million budget. However, despite opening at the top spot, it earned $3 million less than the first film’s opening in April 2012, and $11 million less that Hart’s previous 2014 hit Ride Along which opened huge in January.

The Channing Tatum/Jonah Hill buddy cop comedy 22 Jump Street, another sequel, is still going strong, only getting edged out of the top spot by a small margin. It managed to rake in $29 million in its second weekend, bringing its domestic total to $111.4 million, far beyond its modest $50 million budget.

The weekend’s third sequel, How To Train Your Dragon 2, posted solid second weekend numbers as well, earning another $25.3 million, bringing their total to $95.1 million domestically. It’s still some way from its $145 million budget, but hopefully foreign sales will help in the future.

Clint Eastwood’s latest offering, Jersey Boys, a biopic about the legendary musical group The Four Seasons, tanked about as hard as most predictions indicated. It opened in fourth place, taking in only $13.5 million. However, its relatively-modest $40 million budget will keep it from being a total bomb. Hopefully it can manage to hold steady in the middle of the pack as an alternative for people who aren’t interested in the slew of up-coming blockbusters.

Disney’s Maleficent earned another $13 million, putting it in fifth place, and bringing its total to $185.9 million, surpassing its large $180 million budget in its fourth weekend.

The Tom Cruise sci-fi action project Edge Of Tomorrow dropped two spots from fourth to sixth and took in $10.3 million. Its domestic total now comes to $74.5 million, still over $100 million short of its huge budget, but it’s posted more-than decent overseas numbers and has earned an additional $218.3 million in foreign markets.

The young adult drama The Fault In Our Stars continues to tumble, dropping two spots from fifth to seventh and earning $8.6 million, while X-Men: Days Of Future Past follows suit, dropping from sixth to eighth and earning $6.2 million.

The Jon Favreau comedy Chef actually managed to climb back up a spot from tenth to ninth, a position it had held for three weeks before its step down the list last week. It earned $1.84 million. Meanwhile Godzilla took a hard fall, dropping from seventh to tenth and pulling in $1.82 million. And that’s your weekend box-office top 10.

1. Think Like A Man Too – $30 million
2. 22 Jump Street – $29 million
3. How To Train Your Dragon 2 – $25.3 million
4. Jersey Boys – $13.5 million
5. Maleficent – $13 million
6. Edge Of Tomorrow – $10.3 million
7. The Fault In Our Stars – $8.6 million
8. X-Men: Days Of Future Past – $6.2 million
9. Chef – $1.84 million
10. Godzilla – $1.82 million

A $500,000 diamond heel is the world’s most expensive shoe

For the high-end shoe lovers who treasure their shoes, Kathryn Wilson, New Zealand’s most successful footwear designer, has teamed up with Sarah Hutchings of Orsini Fine Jewellery to create the world’s most expensive shoe. The single classic court-heeled shoe features more than half a million dollars’ worth of white diamonds to make it a one-of-a-kind work of art. The process involved hours of surgeon-like precision using tweezers and a special adhesive.

Summer must-haves (shoe wear)

7 May

Its that’s time of year the our toes want to peep through and say hello “Look at my Beautiful Polish”. Each month I receive various emails from online stores that I purchase from and “Bing” my Shoe Dazzle email popped into my inbox, and it contained the four must-haves on your checklist for summer. They featured two similar wedges one with a strap and the other with a tie string, high heels for the hot days and steamy nights, and last but not least a pair of sandals. What’s your favorite?

Do you or don’t you?

So spring is here and between filming, events and my personal life even though I live minutes from the beach I rarely get to catch some sun. When your young you baste your skin in the golden sun until you look like a lobster, but as you get older you realize the consequences of the sun. So instead of going some where to get spray tanned I started looking into home spray tans.
I looked into the new Kardashian collection but even on Amazon it was about $40-$60 (which I personally think is high) for a bottle. I ended up picking up L’Oreal which cost me about $10. So far so good…I like my base color…it starts out gradual and you can build darker. How do you guys get your spring/summer tan?
